Unfold the Wonder: Explosion Book Workshop
Transform flat paper into interactive, multi-dimensional art! In this hands-on papercrafting class, you will design and construct two custom "explosion" books: a pocket-sized 4-inch book, and a 6-inch showcase book.
Using sturdy chipboard, heavy cardstock, and vibrant origami paper, you will learn the fundamentals of measuring, precision cutting, and accordion-folding to craft layered pages that expand magically when opened. Perfect for custom photo albums, unique holiday cards, or pocket scrapbooks, these dynamic books are as fun to open as they are to make.
No experience necessary. All supplies included.
For students aged 13 and older. Younger students are welcome to register with an adult caregiver who is also registered.

Julia Davenport has been teaching arts and crafts for 4 years in Chittenden county. She specializes in family crafts, paper crafting, watercolors and painting. She is also a certified Zentangle teacher. She teaches at local libraries, Milton Artists Guild and out of her home. Julia believes the creative process can heal, nurture and transform our days. We ALL can get grounded and find peaceful respite from our hectic lives.
