    Intuitive Tarot Workshop

    In this class, participants will explore each of the 78 tarot cards and how they work together to tell stories and answer questions through words, symbolism, and color. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the tarot, from taking them out of the box to building the ability to do full readings by the completion of the course. There will also be some journaling and take-home assignments to help students better understand the cards. Requirement: Bring a Rider Waite Original Tarot Deck (can be ordered through Barns & Noble), a notebook, a pen, and an open mind! Handouts will be provided. Min Age 16+

  • Mah Jongg For Beginners and Refreshers

    This American version of Mah Jongg will start with a simplified game where players, pick up, discard and trade tiles to form an easy winning hand. Over the course of 4 weeks, we'll slowly add more tiles, increase the complexity of the winning hands (using National Mah Jongg League cards) and will talk about defense and sleuthing. Mah Jongg players enjoy bluffing, learn flexibility, and generally have a lot of fun. If you like card games, you'll probably love Mah Jongg.

    Travel in a van conversion is a low-cost and self-contained travel option that appeals to folks comfortable with and excited by the prospect of independent exploration. Whether staying at campgrounds or at “dispersed camping” areas, you can optimize your home-on-wheels to meet your own requirements. Over the course of 4-sessions, we will discuss and share ideas, methods, and experiences. This is a great class for anyone interested in van conversions and/or someone who has some experience and is looking for more. Which vehicle is best for conversion? How to plan for a space that will meet your particular needs? Why not buy an RV or a factory van conversion? This forum will take a methodical approach to discussion of needs, priorities, and limitations, including, but not limited to: The Big Tin Can: walls, ceilings, floors, insulation, noise suppression, ventilation. Electricity: solar panels, battery options, charger/inverters, DC/AC wiring, lighting, ventilation, heating. Sleeping: bed and bedding options. Storage: shelving, drawers, dedicated space for bicycles or other specific needs. Cooking: built-in or outside, refrigerator/coolers. Bathroom needs: the most-frequently asked question, no-contest. Camping: What options exist for staying in developed or dispersed areas?
