In this two-session course, each participant will receive hardwood blanks and have access to their own lathe, allowing for plenty of guided practice and individual instruction. Students will learn essential lathe safety, proper tool use, and the basic properties of wood while transforming a rough blank into a beautifully finished bowl or two, depending on proficiency.
