WaitlistCrochet 101: Total Beginner Crochet WorkshopARTS & CRAFTSThis is a 2 week course for anyone interested in learning how to crochet. Students in this class will learn how to choose their hook, yarn type and weight, beginner level stitches and common terminology. Each student will get a skein of yarn and a crochet hook to use during class and then take home with them to continue their practice. Students are also welcome to bring their own materials if they wish. Note that the class size is limited to 4 students to provide lots of instructor support. For students aged 13 and older. Crochet Workshop: Let's Make a Granny SquareARTS & CRAFTSJoin us for a beginner-friendly workshop where we will learn how to crochet a granny square. Students will learn how to create a magic circle and make granny squares suitable for a wide range of projects (think bags, cardigans, and the classic blanket). Prior crochet experience is recommended before joining this workshop. Students are encouraged to bring their own yarn and crochet hook (medium-weight 4 yarn and a 5.0–6.0 mm hook are recommended). Crochet Workshop: Christmas StockingsARTS & CRAFTSJoin us for this 3 week beginner-friendly workshop and learn how to crochet a festive stocking. Perfect for gifting or decorating your home! Students will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of stocking patterns and yarn that best suits their style. While the workshop is beginner-friendly, some basic crochet experience is recommended. Each student will be provided with yarn and a crochet hook to complete their project and this is included in the course fee. Students are also welcome to bring their own worsted weight yarn if they wish (the project will use 2 colors: one for the body, and one for the toe, heel and cuff). For students aged 13 and older.
