Turn your favorite pet photo into a one-of-a-kind piece of art as a memorable keepsake or create a personalized pet portrait to give as a special gift! I’ve created portraits of dogs, cats, ferrets, and more, so all kinds of pets are welcome. It’s a fun, relaxed class and a special way to create a keepsake celebrating your favorite furry (or not-so-furry!) friend. I’ll take your photo, draw and design your pet in Adobe Illustrator then use my laser machine to cut your custom portrait into individual wooden pieces that will become your "wooden canvas!" When you arrive at class, your personalized pet portrait will be ready for you to paint! You’ll also receive a printed reference showing the original photo you sent and my lined design version of your pet. This will help you see how the different laser-cut sections come together and give you a guide for choosing colors and recreating your pet’s unique markings. Then comes the fun part—painting, assembling, and bringing your pet portrait to life! Get creative with your colors and design to bring your pet's expression and personality to life. No artistic experience is necessary!
