An Introduction to Punch Needle Rug Hooking

In this two-week introduction class, you will create a 5” X 5” mug rug or trivet with the Oxford Punch Needle.

Create your own design, or choose from an assortment of punch needle patterns: Bird, Sheep, Maple Leaf or Pine Tree.

The class fee includes the pattern, directions, monks’ cloth, and yarn, a $25 value.

A tool kit, including a #10 Oxford Regular Punch Needle, Frame, and cover, is provided by the instructor for you to use during the class. If you would like to purchase the kit to keep, you will have the option to do that during class directly from the instructor. If the tool kit is not returned at the end of class, we will need to charge your account.

No experience required. Ages 13 and older recommended; younger students are welcome with an adult caregiver who is also registered.
