Asian Comfort Food: Braised Pork Belly & Coconut Sago

Ready to master the ultimate comfort meal? Join Evelyn for an unforgettable cooking class where you will learn how to create melt-in-your-mouth braised pork belly over rice. This is one of her childhood favorites, made by her grandmother on every family reunion dinner. You will discover the magic of caramelizing rock sugar with dark soy sauce and blending fragrant aromatics to craft a rich, glossy, savory glaze that hugs every grain of hot rice. We won’t stop there as Evelyn will also share with you on how to craft a traditional, piping-hot coconut sago soup to finish the experience with a warm, sweet touch.

Last but not least, Evelyn will surprise you with her own additional dish to enhance the meal experience for the evening! She will only reveal the dish or treat in class when everyone gathers. Come ready to cook, laugh, and indulge in pure comfort food!

Dietary Note: To preserve the authenticity of these traditional dishes, ingredient substitutions cannot be accommodated in this session.
